Simon001 – Yes, Helmut Raiser could see what was happening, but the SV really didn’t want a dissenter in their ranks – sound familiar??? Yes, it is sad that what he predicted may happen has actually happened.. For those who claim to be true to the breed and it’s origins, it is a mystery to me how they allowed this to happen. As I said before – money, pure and simple.

Sue B –
Therefore, rather than (as you have done) argue that those that DO NOT sign should NOT be frequenting CC shows, I certainly didn’t say that. Choice is a good thing. I think you should be able to frequent whatever shows you want. My irritation was the post that suggested that KC signers should be banned from your shows!

You have your reasons for not signing, fine. What I don’t understand is this continual fascination with the KC. You’ve made your choice, and for all the right reasons for you, why not just get on with it and ignore the KC?
No-one will understand the meaning of hypocracy, as it is not a real word. I guess you mean hypocrisy LOL

Sheila – I have not criticised any clubs for signing or not signing, quite the opposite in fact, I am in favour of allowing each to make their own decision without let, hindrance or abuse from those taking an opposing view.

In this instance I agree with David Payne, that this situation should not alienate clubs who do or don’t sign. That was my point when I said listen to yourselves – you are disparaging clubs that have signed, and those who don’t share your opinion. I am quite amused though to hear David Payne advocating of tolerance LOL.

OK... joepublic... or should I say, Dingodog?  Some of us seen your "senior moment"... what's that about?

by Dingodog on 31 March 2010 - 18:03

Well Missbeeb

You got me.  Exposed. Yes, I am also Joepublic.  The different name is because I felt a deep desire to respond when I was at work, particularly to the reference that someone had made about how 'Joe Public' was so ill informed. So I decided to 'adopt' the persona' Joe Public, because, Dingodog or otherwise, that reflects exactly who I am, and seemed more relevant. At least now you can see that I am not some KC/Alsatianist.  I started to reply as Dingodog, but realised and so removed them, as I wanted to maintain the continuity of Joe Public (or confuse the issue any further), so replying under DD was in fact a senior moment!!!

Dingodog, since we're "on the confessional", allow me to offer an apolopgy for being rude.  I just get too caught up in the moment at times... so, sorry
