Kat, there are two ways I post photos on here. One is to use my photobucket account, and the second is to upload directly from my "My Pictures" folder on my computer.

For the first method, click on the picture icon, the one that looks like a small mountain with the sun shining on it. It's in the second row from the bottom above, and the 7th icon from the left.

You will then get the following options at the top of your editing screen: Image Info, Link, Upload, Advanced. Copy the image URL from your web account (Photobucket, Picasa, etc.) and paste it in the box under "Image Info".  Then, click on the "Link" button, and enter it again under that option, then click "Okay" . You wil now see your photo exactly as it will appear when you press "Enter"

If it is too big (and this is the step a lot of people don't know how to do!), right click on it and click on "Image Properties"

Under "Image Info" you will see a box that says "WIdth" and "Height" Enter a figure of around 400 or 500 under "WIdth" and the image will automatically resize itself when you press "Okay".  I'm now going to resize the above image to 300 pixels in width. The height will resize automatically, to keep the image in proportion.

Okay, with me so far?

To upload an image from your computer, select the mountain/sun icon, then select "Upload" (DUH!) When it shows you the files on your hard drive, select your "My Pictures" folder (DUH! x2) and then select the image you want to upload. If you want it to upload quickly, please make sure it is smaller than 300 kb. Once the image location appears in the window, select "Send it to the Server" The amount of time this takes is directly proportional to the image size. Images larger than 500 kb take a minute or two or even three to upload. Be patient. Once it has uploaded, a message will pop up saying your upload was successful, and the image will appear in your editing screen. Check it for size, resize it if necessary, and hit "Submit"!

Most helpers here in the USA just use scratch pants and a sleeve, like our helping is in the pictures I posted.  This is how it is done here.  I know each helper in a little bit different.

The helper in not my bf...I stated "the sable male is my boyfriend Phil's."  My boyfriend is the one that is doing the obedience with the sable male, TJ,  in the second picture that I posted.

Here is  friend and Pakwerker/ Helper Eric Brakels last night at the training Club, I asked him about the protection vest, He said most  but not all Halpers wear them for Training,

He always does, the reason being that if a dog hangs on to him, the Claws of the Dog will make a mess of his sides, which one did once when he never wore the protection Vest over his Pants,

He said he could not work on the sleeve for some time as he cound not bend his body because it hurt to do so, as the dog had  raked his side pretty badly

Eric has done helper work in the USA and Canada

Steve

However he did say No one can work in a Competition or Trial without the Vest on, that is the rules over here. just as i said in an earlier post
