I don't think anything is wrong with those dogs, what's wrong is the name they were given...cuz they are really not GSDs from a Real GSD owner's point of view.
One time we went to a CKC style of GSDs show without knowing that the dogs presented in the show were totally different than my dog...it was really nice of the judge not to just exclude him from being presented...i am sure if they decide to do that in their show, they can, cuz they look like two different breeds.
In the show I couldn't help but noticing that a cute dog napping outside the ring at the owner's feet for longer than half an hour without making much of a move at all! That was totally surprising to me, cuz there hadn't been a day even in my dog's puppyhood that he was napping in public like that! Instead he is always prepared for the go and always in full alert...The owner of the dog later told us that she was 8 month old and she was always laid-back like that...
I guess they are really not bad dogs, they can be really good pets for people...but I really don't think they are working dogs...definitely not the GSD I know...wonder why do people even call them GSD?
