Description
Established in 2006, we are dedicated to enhancing the American Bulldog breed. We breed for quality, not quantity! We register with the NKC, UKC, ABA and ABRA, as well as conduct health screenings and OFA testing on our breeding stock to help make sure we are producing the healthiest puppies we possibly can.
All of our puppies are hand raised in our home with our 5 children (ages 4 to 16), the adult dogs and our three cats. They are handled from birth and we try to make sure that we expose them to all sorts of stimuli in order to make them well suited for most any home environment!
We are proud to say that all of our dogs are pampered indoor dogs, not "kennel" dogs, and are worked with often. Our dogs have done some bite work, agility and weight pull. We work them here, but are not currently competing with them due to the distance to any sanctioned events at this time.
We allow our dogs free run of the backyard, which we have protected by a PetSafe Invisible Fence. This is a great system for our dogs, as it lets them run and play, but they are kept safe at home. It took very little time to train them to respect the boundaries set forth for them...
We also have access to a brook at the back of our property, which the dogs ADORE! Isabelle is more of a beach bunny, whereas Deacon loves to fish for brook trout - even sticking his whole head underwater!
Located in picturesque Hartland Vermont, we are just outside of town, so we don't have to worry about bothering the neighbors, yet close enough to be not too off the beaten track. We are located about 10 minutes from the intersections of I-89 and I-91, and are a short distance from Exit 9 on I-91.
Our puppies start at $1000, and range upward depending on breeding and quality. We do require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 to hold pick - and although we generally wait until the litter has hit the ground before we take deposits we have noticed that our MALE puppies go VERY fast! Our last litter they were all sold by 2 weeks of age. Balance is due by 6 weeks of age.
We have one of the most comprehensive contracts in the American Bulldog world, as well offering a 1 year health guarantee against genetic defects and life threatening illness, 30 days of FREE pet health insurance through Trupanion, AVID microchips and all shots and worming up to date.
