Agassiz1, LOL

but seriously this is pretty sad.

i have been a USCA  member for awhile  and  i think i will stay with  them , i have not had any problems with USCA .

i was at the NASS, but left before all the action started. i now wish i would of stayed around to see it.

i have had alot of people complain to me about the NASS this year.

i  sure was dispointed with the lack of OB , that was required for the NASS-  what the hell.  and the dogs they let through- that was funny-

This was my first NASS with my dog. I have attended one or two before this when researching about the breeders. What I saw that day was downright wrong and to a novice in this show business I felt that thing too. Now not that I have a Mittelwest dog, but truely and unargueably I saw the wrong. I am glad I am not part of Kennel Wilhendorf by any means. As I met someone at the NASS hotel bar in this duration who after knowing my dog's kennel name immediately said : "you know we are rivals, right?" I mean really..thats all it came down to. What about dogs for which you guys exist with this grand way in shows and all. Breeding and kennel is a business just like others, everyone understand. But honesty is still the name of the game to retain long time good name. I mean if someone mentions to me, I have Teejay's son, as someone did that day sarcastically, I was left with no choice to say I have Odin's son. But again, my point is its good that who my pup comes from. But I think to me it will be always about my dog. I don't care what my dogs sire or dam is. If my dog is capable or not, if my dog has it or not.

I was pretty taken aback to be honest with all these things going on that weekend. And I saw some inside close view of what happens in big shows. Competing is always good, for the betterment of the breed but unlawfully or competing without a proper competition is just going to destroy the hearts and purpose of new people like us and more importantly the breed. I have met several new people at NASS, and after what happened the last day we were talking about either or not to show our dogs anymore in WDA shows. I personally don't think I will till some sort of change takes place.

Anyways, enough of my rant. I will stand by my kennel group no matter what. Because I saw what went there it was not justified.

On a different note It was nice meeting and knowing you Keith Grossman. We had a good discussion overall at the bar:))))

Keith,

As I stated on facebook about performance award, there is no strict rule about it. It is nothing new, it has happened before in both organizations, just nobody pay attention to it.

Hey, Rish, good to meet you and your wife as well and good to see you here.  You should friend me on Facebook if you're on there.  When are you going to come out and train with us?

by RISH1581 on 02 November 2012 - 01:11

Keith, absolutely..I will loop u up. I will probably come sometime. But probably wont join any club now. As this week I found out I am moving back to Michigan, so I will stick with my option of training with brian Harvey. I remember you telling me you know some club people up there too. let me know. won't mind seeing.

I wonder when a response will be sent by the WDA, also wonder what the SV, and GSDCA are doing about this?
