The stair climbing part in the zz3 was interesting to see, ive seen a few dogs that freak when seeing stairs, the dog did it well though he took it slow and easy.

An IPO3 dog would not pass ZVV3 title, probably not even ZVV2 title without training for it. However an ZVV3 dog would have enough training to pass IPO3 title.
Everything in ZVV3 routine is more difficult than ipo3 routine, Tracking, OB and protection.

It is not an easy title to get, they do not require focus as in and IPO3 routine, they however do not tolerate the dog leaving the handler an any time. I know, it happened to me, my male took a swim in the river. To his defense it was an awfully hot day and the river was right there. LOL.. he came back to continue the routine just fine.. I was DQed.

ZVV3 routine has a two silent guards, one is a minute one, one is a 3 minute one. I hope it is still the same I have not read the routine in few years. The retrieves were over the scaling wall, not an A frame.
Just couple things I remember.

Well I looked it up:

Tracking, 1300 paces, 180 minutes old, one road 2 articles, 25 minutes to finish
Obedience, : retrieves over a wall (not an awall) 180 cm tall, 1 kg
the tall ladder (both ways)
Obedience in front of the handler, only signs, no commands.. sit, down, stand.

Protection, correction it was total 3 minutes :2 + 1 minute guard while handler is out of sight.. (here the dog either does it or leaves.. seen it a lot.. not very many dogs will be there for 2 minutes.. if the helper leaves or the dog looses guard.. its over.
There are some other exercises but overall, more independent work of the dog rather than focus driven for the handler.

GDSpack that helps alot more to understand it,I can see why only a few dogs a year are able to get titled for it.

Thank you, GSD.
I´m pretty sure any IPO trained dog needs to train prior to ZVV, but I really guess a stable dog is able to do it.
Is there any translation of the rules?
I´d like to know more about these titles - a lot of questions like:
You need 70 points for passing the obedience - what about a dog not crawling (10 points) or not climbing the ladder (10 points) but otherwise doing fine?
What about the 1.80 meter wall? On Youtube they always show an A frame, no wall. Truth or fake?
Watching the helper (2 + 1 minutes = 10 points ) - what happens in case the dog leaves the helper too early?

A lot of questions, I know, sorry.

Only for the record: A dog leaving the trial ground within the IPO trial is disqualified, too.

Honestly, it would be best to visit a ZVV trial, the scoring is different than an IPO trial.

I thought so ( different scoring ), but there must be rules somewhere.
Driving over there just for fun is no option right now.
Is there any translation?
Thank you in advance!

As far as I know, the ZVV titles are in the Czech republic, while the Slovakian equivalent are the SVV titles.

Also, the fact that only around 4-5 dogs get the ZVV3 in an entire YEAR, illustrates the difference between ZVV and the commoditized IPO. Maybe Prager can chime in with the rules. I also notice that many of the Czech breeders are currently resorting to putting the easier IPO titles on their dogs, than having to do the ZVVs.

I translated parts of it years ago. This is not the best translation but should give you an idea. It has not been checked for spelling or grammar and I have not read it in years. So sorry for the mistakes.
ZVV and SVV is the same thing FYI. Zkouska Vsestrannyho Vycviku (ZVV) or Skuska Vsestranneho Vycviku (SVV)

Methods for training
Part one: Tracking
1. Look of the track, length, place number of articles, and their placing is decided by the judge.
2. When is the track laid, there can be present only these people: the one who organizes the trial and judge. Judge doesn’t have to be there.
3. Track can not be done in places or surfaces, that show the track visually: types of articles that can be used
a, must be textile or other material that keeps the smell (no metal or glass)
b, mustn’t be visually too different from grass, ground (size 100x 50 x 10mm)
c, can’t be used toys that the dog uses
d, each article must smell like the track laying person
e, they can be used only one time, for each person
f, they have to be checked by the judge

4. The track is done like this: the beginning is marked with flag on left side, person who is doing the track is standing/ slightly stepping on one spot for about 30 seconds.
5. The end is done like this: person doing the track ends the track with an article and continues for about 10 feet without disturbing direction

Handler/dog work:

1. the articles can be pointed out on the track these ways:
a, picking it up, dog can be standing, sitting or. “dancing”
b, dog can be standing, sitting or down
Combination of these two is unwanted.

2. As soon as the dog catches the scent, handler lets the dog go on for the length of the leash. Handler follows.
3. the leash can not be used to direct the dog, pull, or keep on the track.
4. the handler can support the dog by talking to him, or praise, but less is better score
5. After finishing the track, the handler has to give the judge all found articles and inform about the finish.
6. If the judge calls off the handler, the tracking can not be finished
7. The judge calls off if:
a, dog looses the scent and gets of track more than 10 meters, or walks back more
than 10 meters (behind handler)
b, dog doesn’t follow the track, is uninterested, disturbed
c, the time limit ended
d, handler tries to correct dog with leash, or words getting him back on
track... (left, right)

Part two: Obedience
1 Dog has to be on the left side heeling, can not be more than 20 cm apart from handler, shoulder next to the leg, they can not be touching
2 When dog “comes” it has to sit in front of the handler, about I foot far
3 If walking the dog has to move with the handler (can’t get behind nor in front of the dog). Can’t be in handler’s way. The dog can’t pull the leash if on it. If the dog is without a leash the handler should have it in his right hand or hanging on a shoulders, from right to left.
4 The dog stays on the left side all the time, when turning, has to turn with the handler and sit, when done on a spot (not walking). When turning about turn can be done 2 ways, around or next to the handler. Never both only one style.

Basic obedience
1 Call the dog-must run right to the handler
2 Calling the dog can be done while walking or not. If walking: the dog must go ahead about 10 meters if not, No points.
3 Control on a leash: the dog watches the handler and follows commands, heel sit and so on.
4 Handler gives commands when: starting to walk, change direction, or rhythm, stop and turns.
5 Dog must react to the commands fast and properly

Dog positions
1 the positions are done on a leash, without a leash or 20 meters far from handler (ZVV3)
2 Commands are done few times dog can not move from position (make steps forward or back, or on a side)

3 Positions of the dog while moving
4 This exercise is leaving the dog on a spot while the handler keeps walking on stay, sit or down position. It ends by returning to the dog.
5 The handler can’t look back nor talk to the dog.
6 Command for position is given after about 10 feet and than the handler continues for about 30 more.

Dumbbell
1 Dumbbell must be on a side before the exercise
2 Dumbbell gets more harder in higher trials by jumping over a jump (100cm, 180cm)
3 Weight and ownership of the dumbbell depends on the trial as well.
4 Dumbbell must be thrown at least 10 meters far
5 Dumbbell has 4 parts:
a, throwing
b, command to bring
c, taking the dumbbell away
d, heel command
1 Dog is off leash and sitting in a heel position
2 On command dog runs to get the dumbbell, if jumping one more command to bring can be done right after the dog jumps over the jump, but not on the way back.
3 Dog runs to get the dumbbell and returns promptly and sits in front of the handler.
4 Also if done with jumping
5 Dog sits right in front of handler and waits with dumbbell in its mouth. Can’t be biting on it or drop it.
6 Helper asks for the dumbbell and commands the dog to heel.

Jumps
1 Jump 100 cm-dog jumps cannot touch the jump with feet.
2 Tall jump 180cm- the jump is 190cm tall and has two walls apart A frame 1.5meters wide on the bottom. There are three “Steps” made out of wood on each side that are 50 cm apart.
3 The length from the wall is up to the handler. Dog has to go over and back or the helper walks and approaches another jump.(depends which trial is done)
4 The helper is not helping dog by running or any other supportive movement while giving a command
5 The beans are done in two ways:
a, beam short, 30cm wide, 500 cm long,1m tall, and has a ladder like
start with about 30 degree steps ( the actual steps are 30 degrees also)
b, Beam tall, 30 cm wide, 500 cm long and 2 meter tall, the ladder is
about 45 degrees and the ladder is 30, 40 cm apart and like standard,
the steps are 5 cm wide and can’t be changed like steps.
6 Depends on a level, these beams are done one or both back and forth.
7 Handles also either goes next to the dog or stays on one spot if needed to be done both ways.
8 Dog should be calm, shouldn’t jump off or fall between the steps or walk on sides.
9 When done only once handler walks next the beam and at the end and gives “heel” command If done both ways: handles stays on one spot when finished one way handler can give another command for return.

Other exercises
1 Bark command changes depending on a level of the test.
2 For barking the only person giving command is the handler and can not be supported by any other things(dog barks at people)
3 Crawling of the dog: depending on level; with the dog or alone the handler is about 10 meter far from his/her dog and commands dog to crawl.
4 When the dog is crawling alone: handler gives down command and walks 10 meters away from the dog, turns around and gives command for crawling. Handler can use command more times.
5 When done with handler: handler crawls on the ground with dog, praise and command and dogs name is Ok to use.
6 After finishing crawling the handler gets up and dog sits in heel position.
7 When done alone: dog crawls to handles, waits for “come” command and then “heel” command
8 Dog can’t bother handler, doesn’t matter if crawling done by putting bag legs under or “dragging” them behind(the dog)
9 Dog can’t be getting up barking or laying down, rolling over.

Thumbs UpRoseTeeth Smile  Thank you very much, GSD!

I´m glad to read we are talking about an a-frame like I saw on the vids ( others may think different, but I like healthy joints...).
