Now, here's a quote from Tina's website today:
"I truly believed then, and still do today, that the (true) German Shepherd is the most awesome breed of dog on earth!"
There you have it. So if Tina Barber herself says the GSD is the best, why would ANYONE get a Shiloh? Case closed, in Ms. Barber's own words.

Because they like them?

I don't dislike Tina because of what she breeds. I really could care less if she was breeding poo's or hybrids. what I take issue with is what I have read and been told by other people. I had pedigree's shared with me years ago showing where wolves were used to create the breed, even though Tina says a wolf was never involved. I was told horror stories about Tina dumping used up breeding dogs at shelters and the dogs were totally unsocialized (very fearful, nervous dogs). This was when she lived in NY (before the fire?).
I also do not care for her attitude and the quest she is on to discredit other people because they just didn't have her same views. They have the same right to breed their dogs as they see fit, the same as she had the right to breed a malamute/gsd cross to her oversized gsd to create the shiloh breed. She spends a hell of alot of energy posting rubbish on her website about other groups (splinter groups) and going to their shows to take pictures of their dogs.
I also don't care for people producing 20+ litters a year, doesn't matter if they are breeding import VA sch3's or a designer breed.

But that's just my opinion.
How long would it take to pull well hidden ticks off one of those babies?

I have read your posts, but choose to ignore them, although I felt that you SHOULD read http://www.workingdogs.com/doc0177.htm It's not MY article -- it's Fred's!
