I was at the Seiger show, and seen Balko, dog looked well taught he was up for it on the day, but unfortunatly wasnt. It was very sad for Colm and Paul, If people stop bad mounting the dog, and notice that many world champs have failed to do it also, and wish the owners the best for next years show they would be better off.
There was 4 dogs in for the Va Title, 3 of these were rolling on the back, not firm and dry and people on this site are bitching about this and that, The VA1 Dog - The judge has a v-big interest in this dog also the measuring stick was not taken out for this class and we all know why.It is not an honest win when ya have to get a friend of the judge to handle and also the owner of the dog. The other Judge S.Blackburn gave everything to his friends, had not a clue about what he was judging. Anything related to Champ, (As he was the owner of him) done very well and also members of his club done well. His ring steward had no manners. I am not gonna go into the incident that John Buckley came onto the grounds and caused trouble. If he has a prob with the GSA why is he not man enough to sit down with the people he has the problem with and sort it out or is he afraid to hear the truth. The GSA in my opinion done a great job on the day to run a good show. There were small problems that can be sorted for next year. Apart ffrom all this I wish the VA1 dog and Va1 Bitch the best of luck.

thedub45  (P) for you name

People do feel sorry for these two men, but  from what I seen. its a pity Balko didn't pass the bite work because 2009 was not going to be his year anyway, Solo was by far the best dog at the show on saturday  and the best dog to be seen in this country in years actually cant remember in all my years seeing a better dog here, (my opinion) and many top breeders stated this fact saturday also, people that know Kenneth Duggan knows how hard he worked with solo as he had alot to do in 3 short weeks, over the years top handlers have came form across water and to think that Solo won becuase of a handler is a joke he is the best Sieger in the 8 years the show has been run.
People should be thanking Ken and Paul,, Solo will be a major influence in our breed as we know it,

Dude is right you are a jealous prick and a blind fool solo v balko no contest nowhere even if he did bite! and as for your remarks about the judge being bias towards solo. It was not ken or paul who looked for this judge and it backed fired because he is a world class judge and knows what is VA and what most definitly is not. The 2 boys were unsure as to whether or not show solo due to the fact he was here a wet day thanks be to god they did because without him and the hughies entries it was a very ordinary show, and all top VA dogs are handled by top handlers ( watch Ken duggan handle him next year ! ).

Hi all I see that this site has not changed what so ever, all having  ago at each other, Well I wasnt at the show, but all I can say is well done to all that did well, Congrats to Paul, Kenneth and Hughie who did well, It would suit the rest of yous to follow in there steps and Show your dogs and gain what they have instead of insulting and de - grading the Gsd.

( believe he was left in a bad way may not show again for some time!.  Its a pity when control is lost.

Jim, you may be right... I don't care if my real name is a requirement or not, I'm ok with it either way, however, I will not be bullied into it by a "board bully"... if that makes me predictable... that's ok with me too.  I don't seek their good opinion, it's of no value to me.

Bad mouthing other peoples dogs is abhorrent and generally has more to do with "the green eyed monster" than anything else.  It must be very hurtful, but does anyone actually believe all the crap?   I know that I cannot be the only one that sifts and sometimes wades through the crap!   If you have a good dog, someone out there will be bad mouthing it... sad but true, thank God the bad losers are in a minority.
