You will get one from the Easter bunny before you get one from parents that neither is sable.
Oh, and by the way, you breed dogs that don't work, don't compete in any type sport or even conform to the standard of your chosen breed and you come here and call yourself a "breeder". You are just another POS puppy mill pumping out pups for the pet market.
Best,
Rik

Yes, they both have AKC DNA on file. Sorry to disappoint your assumption.

No, I have not seen either of the parents in person.
I am wondering if maybe the puppies are not even sable. I will ask her if I can post the puppy pics here. I have seen the pics of the puppies and they actually look like a golden retreiver color (NOO, no Golden got to the female). The pads of the puppy are pink. Maybe a liver?
Thank you for the informative remarks as we did not think that two black/red's could produce sables either.

No other dogs bred the female. There isn't a sable on premises and my friend saw the male breed the female that she chose for her. No, the female didn't get out. No, no other dog got in with her - just to get those questions over with that someone else will inevitably ask. I really really quizzed the owner about this scenario.

Why are you getting so nasty? I just asked a question because I KNEW the answer and wanted some other explanations. My gosh!
What other sable I posted a couple days ago - I haven't posted in quite awhile about sables. If you can tell me what your talking about I can explain maybe?
I am not like some people on this board. No need to go getting accusatory before I've had a chance to answer!

sables don't come from black/red x black/red parents. One of the dogs involved is not black/red..you are the one that needs to go dna a pair of dogs. A high school drop out that studies Sable genes will know that. Not gonna happen..Sable is not a mutation nor a recessive so it can't go traveling...You have a traveling salesman in your kennel..not a sable gene out of place..Someone did not identify the mom or dad correctly, if no sable male or female involved. The pic you posted the other day in a sable thread was not a sable. Post the pedigree of this sable pup or dog you are posting this thread about. Please. We are all in the dark as to what you are calling a sable product. Post a pic of the two parents also.

Newborn puppies sometimes have pink soles for a few days after birth. But if these puppies are older, and the pads are pink and the nose leather and around the eyes is pink/brown---sounds like a liver, not a sable.
If the pup is gold all over--it might not be a sable, but rather some sort of bt pattern with the black markings suppressed.
Pictures would be very helpful.
