That ad makes me sad.  I won't argue over the value of a good dog but how they talk about the litters being "all profit".

So then what would be a fair price for the dog? I went to the site when I first posted and no video was presented to show her working side. I don't remember seeing any video for their dogs working (but there could have been). But this is the same as I had mentioned before, someone buys a dog for a litter or two then dumps the dog. What a throw away society. Lease a dog if you have no intention to keep and work

What someone will pay for the dog is what it's worth. You couldn't pay me 20k to take a dog going back to the B litter vd G v M dogs, but that's just my personal thing. The rest of her ped is nice and if she's anything like her half sister, she's a fantastic dog, but not "worth" half what they're asking if you look at similar dogs being sold.

Ridiculous pricing. Saw that add the other night and laughed. Good luck getting 20 k out of that dog. Sounds like they dug themselves in too deep. It's completely possible to have that rating and titling by 3.

I also would rule out this bitch because she's got the Sven X Sindy combination in her pedigree as well as Sven on both top and bottom.

Sven isn't the culprit if you look really closely....I've had plenty of Sven in various strengths...he just gets assumed to be to blame. Certain things are more prevalent w/him, but if you keep him away from Sindy and look at what he's produced, imo,  he's produced just fine. But we're not allowed to talk about that. It's bad for some people's wallets and they get really angry if you tell of your experiences with dogs bred that way. Teeth Smile So we won't.

B litter von den Grauen von Monstab is the big deal-breaker here for me...and of course good old Sindy.   For someone claiming to be so into genetics on their breeding stock, I'm a bit surprised they chose this bitch and are now asking so much for her. As I said, I had her half sister and she was FANTASTIC- though no Sindy and no B litter vdGvM, so I'm not bashing the bitch herself, at all. I just certainly would not choose her for a breeding female unless she was SPECTACULAR, and if so, I'd be super cautious what I bred her to.
