ML, because you seem better educated on this subject, please explain something to me. Why would President Elect Biden hold 290 Electoral votes, be named the next president of the USA, start to develop his own team of people, get issued secure communications by the American Government, receive regards and congratulations from other leaders of their countries, only to what...a few weeks or days from now to tell him that he did not win, that the current President is still going to be the President after 20th January?

How does that make the USA look worldwide? We are incompetent, we cant run an election properly, we are so involved with party lines that we become blind?
How are we supposed to be the beacon of Democracy, the example that we set for other people to follow, when we cannot even run an election?
Please dont tell me it will be the Democrats fault or Biden's or some underhanded tactic...the world will see what we put out, incompetency to run a country.
I am extremely curious to see what will happen if the final count still shows Biden as the next president, how will our current president feel, what will he say then...I am really curious and please understand, I am NOT looking for a fight or an argument, just facts, if you know them.

First of all neither Joe Biden nor Donald Trump hold any Electoral votes.

They (Electoral Votes) meet on Dec 14th and vote I believe.

You are hearing media "projections" non of the results have been finalized.

As far as talking to other world leaders, that is what they charged Gen Flynn with when Trump was elected but not yet sworn in. Evidently it's ok for the Democrats though.

By the way the Democrats have been fighting the last election for 4 years. I didn't observe the rest of the world having a problem with that.

ML, thank you for that information. Just so you know, I am not a democrat nor a republican, I believe that both parties have some good as well as some bad ideas, I am just looking to see who will put their constituents first and execute the oath of their office.

ML is totally correct, Biden is NOT President Elect.  Only the Electoral College makes that decision. I posted about the Electoral College here on PDB before.

Biden being called by the press & his own self & team President Elect is simply a brainwashing ploy used against the ignorant masses, of which there is a whole lot of in America.

Goes to the old mind trick of if it is said often enough, then everyone eventually begins to believe it is true.

Like all the morbidly obese that tell their selves they are not that fat.  They only need to lose a couple of pounds, not the 100 plus they really need to lose, & they will again be a slim as ever.  They do not see their gross morbidity when looking in the mirror.  (Gross meaning weight, not the derogatory.  Although if the shoe fits...)  

You hear it/say it often enough you most likely will begin to believe it.  Even if it is an outright lie.
