I dont think you have much of a problem. The thing that needs to happen is you have to be stronger than the dog. The pickiest eater will respond after a few days without food. Put down whatever you choose to feed. If he doesn't eat in a few mins take it away. No food or anything until the next day. Keep doing this until he eats the food. from that point he will eat almost anything you put down. Dont worry about him losing weight or starving. Natural preservation will kick in and the dog will eat to survive. This has worked with many many dogs. The problem is only with you. How much is it going to bother you to not see him eat for 2-3 days. remember in the wild they may only eat once a week. good look and i hope you are stronger than your dog. ceddy

Eukanuba is good for putting on weight and you should supplement your dry food. A mix of ground beef carrots celery and rice can be added to any dry you use

Hi Srisharma, Healthy dogs do not starve themselves, and the brain finds the stomach after a while. It is tough when you want to get substance on to your dog - but if you allow him he will train you to hand feed him and still no substance will come. Give yourself a period of a week. If the dog refuses the food, take it right away and offer it every 4 hours (fresh food of course) until he eats. If after one week, my dog still had not eaten, then I would consider there was something very wrong with him and I would ask my vet to intervene. Always fresh drinking water available for him of course Regards Mo - Mascani
