USA Sieger Show is this weekend. Years ago there were multiple posts leading up to the event and a lot of enthusiasm and momentum about the breed and breeders around the country. There hasn't been any posts leading up to the event in recent years. Testing the waters to see if there's still any interest.
GSDCA assumed the SV reins and sponsored the Sieger Show as the WDA imploded. Since then they have taken the event and blended SV style show with AKC management. The result has some hiccups but the end result has been fantastic venues and SV judges bringing the vision of the breed from Germany to the US.
Does anyone have any information on the entries?

Hello Dog1
Like the other former regulars, you have not posted for a very long time. Sadly, for all intents and purposes, this board is dead. No one comes here anymore...I check this board a couple of times a week out of habit and hope that somehow it will revive, but I think it is past reviving...all interest seems to be gone as far as GSD fanciers are concerned...
There was absolutely no posts about the SV BSZS this year unlike years past. And there are no discussions about breed lines etc. Even a few years back, when H.P. Rieker died, no one commented, unlike previous years when there were tributes to an important deceased breeder, like Carl Fuller, Scheld, Orschler, Messler or the Martins. Susie posted a while back wondering if there was any interest here any more. Had to give her the same bad news I am giving you.
As far as the GSDCA American Sieger Show in Texas, the website, such as it is, is only on Facebook as far as I can tell, they do not have a dedicated website. There is no list of entries that I could find, just the judges Weber males, Prall females. Helpers are not listed. As far as I can tell, they do not have a professional website designer, at least living in the US. Rumor has it that what they have is some person in the Ukraine...
Showed with you at a Sieger Show years ago when you had a Batu son...as I recall he went first. Of course, the judge was Orschler, those were the days, now long gone. Haven't seen any Blauen Bergens lately....hope all well with you.
