Hey everyone. I recently lost my 10 year old male, sable GSD suddenly to liver cancer. My dog touched my heart and made me a better person for having known and loved him. My husband trained him to a Sch1, but then we decided after that to let him be a family pet only. We are now starting the look for a new puppy. We really want another male and are only interested in a working line dog. Obviously hips, title and KK are important. We do want another dog with drive, as we are able to handle that and actually find a moderate to high drive preferable. We are energetic ownwers who have the time to "work" the dog. I've been blessed to have two GSD's in my life, one lived until 14, the other to 10. Both impacted my life more then I could have ever imagined. I cannot imagine my life without another GSD. My house is too quiet and empty, just like my heart. Any suggestions for the Illinois/Wisconsin area?

Try Triton kennels in IL. They are just now breeding two of their females and I highly recommend them. I've bought two dogs from Trish and Tony:) http://www.tritonkennels.com/

Actually, while I'm thinking of it, I'm in Michigan and have this male available: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/500049.html His sire is the dog that Trish is using for her females, Xandor vom Haus Sevens IPO3, HD/A. The dam is Sch.1 and an Olex de Valsory daughter. I'll be going over to IL to pick up the stud dog pretty soon. Alex was sold but returned to me because he was too much for them.

Like what I see on their website except for one thing. I really prefer to pick the puppy out of the litter rather then have the breeder choose for me. I feel I have enough knowledge in temperment to make my own decision. I'm sure they have lovely dogs, but I really prefer to pick one based on my assessment in conjuction with the breeder.

Try (Steve Beal) in Racine, Wisconsin. alwaysdogin@yahoo.com He has some nice dogs...litters occasionally. AND he actively competes in the "Sport". He is a real nice guy.

Ditto to above...also I would recommend Marcy Blank at Landschaft Kennel: http://user.mc.net/~frabo. I have 2 super dogs from her, both I titled to SchH3. She made suggestions (which I actually ended up agreeing with her) but let me choose my pups. Sue

Would you be open to a Czech line puppy? If so, I have a litter due May 5th. Both parents are HOT, SchH3,IPO3, good hips
