Anyone had import papers from Czech take longer than a month AFTER you recieve the dog?

i did import from Latvia, and does seems that it will take aprox..3 weeks to 4 weeks

it depends when the papers were sent to the registry. Then they have to be issued and send back to the previous owner. Then the previous owner has to send the papers to you. It can be as fast as three weeks and as slow as 8 weeks and all inbetween. I tell my clients to allow 6 weeks.
Also if any of the paperwork was sent certified mail to the registry, they will not pick it up from the post office and pretty much it will hang there untill it gets returned to the previous owner, that happened to me also and it delayed the paperwork by nearly 2 months. Good the new owner purchased a young dog and was in no hurry to breed or trial or it would have been rather a PITA. Anyway, give it two more weeks, you can also contact the seller to see if they got them back from the registry.
