The pic is too big

Looks a lot like an English Pointer to me. Not sure what else. Maybe Pitbull, some sort of terrier, or it could even be Dalmatian. It's sometimes hard to tell. But I'd go with English Pointer mix to be safe. Many people hate Pitbulls and even mixes with Pitbull in them are hated. The face does remind me oddly of a Jack Russell Terrier though, so maybe some sort of English Pointer and Jack Russell Terrier mix?

How much does he weigh?? Looks like a definite jack Russell. But then again I don't know how much he weighs and how big he is... I don't really see pit bill in his body structure..

He's kinda scruffy, which makes me think either lab/who knows what mix or he's got some terrier as in Jack or something else a bit scruffy.
If it's anything with pit i say its a long shot. And I've seen some weird pit mixes. Mini poodle/ pit? Yep seen one. Could even be some some smooth coated border collie. But your going to have to post some pix when he's a bit bigger. At this point it's anyone's guess.

'fry, by 'scruffy' I take it you're referring to his coat looking like there might be a bit of wiry or 'rough' hairs making their appearance, correct? I thought I saw the same thing, but wasn't sure if it was an artifact of the ultra-sized picture or my computer screen...

Yes that is what i mean, but i've seen lab puppies with some "odd" longer hairs that later turned out to be more or less normal coated. But i've never seen a "pit bull" with those longer guard hairs in really young pups. Now i do see a lot of this in a lot of terrier type pups.
And after 20 years of watching 6 puppy classes a year for 7 weeks each you start to notice some thing...... (like i don't want to teach puppy class any longer, but i will still do basic OB) :p And i see a heck of a lot if mislabeled pups. For better or worse. :/
