I’m extremely proud to announce that Xenon v Bullinger earned his “Ring 1” title (French Ring – protection dog) with an EXCELLENT rated score, on October 6, in Ottawa, under well respected French judge: Camille Tisserand. Decoys were Daniel Lybbert and Jason Fox.

Xenon takes third place at the Canadian French Ring Championships and gets the highest score in obedience with 67.5/68!!!
Points off in bite work for re-bites and slow to out upwards of 2-3 seconds.
A nice and tough working title for a German Shepherd.

Xenon v Bullinger, CGN, CDX, HIC, AGN, Ring 1 --- is fully trained and handled (H.O.T.) by his owner: Myriam Touchette.

Xenon is now retired from French Ring and being in trained in IPO/Schutzhund.

Myriam,
Congratulations! That is a great accomplishment!
I saw some of your obedience training that you posted on you tube.
Xenon's heeling is excellent!
Great job you should be very proud!
Xenon is the type of GSD that show line breeders should be striving to produce.

Sincere congratulations on your accomplishment. You have every right to be proud!

(Just a wee bit curious why you are leaving FR to do IPO.)

Laura271 and Mystere...why the switch??

Just because the decoy I was training with moved to Toronto, an 8 hour drive from where I live. Only 2 French Ring clubs left in Quebec now.....and this also means very, very few trials to compete in.
I'm training to enter trials, not just for the fun of it.

I've LOVED Ring and still love French Ring, with its more realistic, real-life situations in bite work (In my opinion). And I hope to be able to train and title another dog in Ring again one day.

However, it is now time for me to train Xenon in tracking and I'm sure, he will love the switch and to learn new things. Regular Smile

...and...thank you for your nice comments!
Lots of work to title a dog, but a joy to train one that wants to work.
